Adding Images To Main Page

I am trying to add some images to the main page via the define pages editor using the htmlarea text editor. When I type the url for the image on the server I get a 403 error permission denied. I have tried changing the permissions but I still get the same error. The url I am using is /public_html/zencart/images/party_supplies/mypicture.jpg. Should I be putting this in another folder? I am using zencart 1.3.9. So far I have been able to solve most of my problems from the info on the forums, but this one I can't. Thanks for any help

/zencart/images/party_supplies/mypicture.jpg

Then preview

That didn't work I got a 403 error with this message:
You do not have permission for this request /zencart/editors/htmlarea/popups/zencart/images/party_supplies/1st_year.jpg

Check permissions on these folders and files within
/zencart/editors/htmlarea/popups/

Otherwise these files in /editors might need reloading

The files in the popups folder are all 0644, what should I change them to. Also if I need to upload new files where do I get them and whick files do I need to replace. Thanks

I figured it out. The file names are case sensitive and the path I used was http://www.fiestapartys.com/zencart/...s/filename.jpg. Thanks

When using the define pages editor is there an easy way to put a default path the images without having to put the path in everytime I want to put an image on the page?

If your install is proper all that is needed is

/zencart/images/party_supplies/mypicture.jpg
