Can ZenCart do this?

Hey there,

A client is looking to create a network of content providers who will upload movies to their sites. I need to allow users to subscribe to get access to this content. The catch is that im sure my users will want content from different providers on my network so I want to offer dynamic monthly billing. ie.

John subscribes to "Fishing tips" category for $10/month. So he is
billed $10 on the day. 30 Days later we bill him another $10 for
access to that category's content. However tomor he follows a link to anotherone of the category's to "Fixing Cars". He likes what he
sees and decides to subscribe to it. So we bill him another $10 for
access to that site.

Can zencart do this?
Can you protect download files? I see that there are some options for digital downloads, but how do they respond to subscription based download? ie can a subscriber/person who has purchased access to that category redownload it?
Can your payment gateways/parters run multiple payments (dynamic) on an account? ie as a user adds categories they are billed or is it tallied up and charged at the end of the month? or is the 1st payment the cycle start?
Can the user manage their subscriptions to the various categories of downloads?

ZenCart is not setup for a subscription to content out of the box
It is open source and could have custom code created for what you seek if you can not locate another script more inline with what you seek

Yeah im looking for a solution that requires less hacking
