    Default IE8 problem

Hi I am using 1.3.9h and my url is www.thearmysurplusstore.co.uk
My site operates and looks ok in firefox ect but IE8 looks awful and loses and also resites my right hand side boxes.
I think this may have something to do with the jscoller sidebox addon that i installed.
could someone please take a look and advise this novice please, i could not find anything relating to this in the forum.
    thanks

You might also try fixing the validation errors on your site:

Same here - looks equally bad in both browsers. Your logo image is a fixed size which (on my screen size) is smaller than the width of the site and left aligned.

Your images are distored because you have specified a width and height (specify just either the width or height to have the image ratio look correct).

If you have a good image editing software you can actually batch edit your photos to have the same dimensions. This will keep them from being distorted and also keep your rows even.

I use Photoshop and have the batch editor do the following...

    1. Fit image Size to 500 x 500
    2. Canvas Size 500 x 500

I believe there are other free programs out there that will do the same.
