Blank Discounts stopped working

Does anyone know why my blank discounts would stop working? An hour ago, the discounts were working perfectly, now they do not work at all. I have not changed anything, so this is a mystery. Very frustrating to have things working then, magically something changes for no apparent reason. Thank, Kelley

I think it happened when moved the products to a new category. Will update in a few minutes.

Yes, that is what happened, Had to delete the whole category and re-add it. So BE CAREFUL if moving products!

This is beyond bizarre. It was working after I re-built the category and the product, then it stopped working again. This must be some kind of bug.

Are we looking at the same list? No telling how many mods there are out there that would come into play. Why is it always such a problem getting folks to give out information?

Not jumping on you alone, but it seems the last thing people want to do is provide information that might help. Certainly you can understand our frustration in that your first post said

Like the missing posting tips, your missing definitive pronoun in this last statement leaves out a lot. Who did the moving? Me, I, he, she, etc? Did you follow any tutorial?

I should have posted this info with my question. Zencart version 1.5.1; no upgrades. PHP= 5.3.24 (Zend: 2.3.0). My SQL = client API 5.5.19. Add-on/plugins: usps shipping module activated/production mode & working perfectly; free shipping module activated & set to offer free shipping for any order totaling $150 or more & working perfectly.
The odd thing is the blank discounts were working, then stopped. I originally thought the problem started when I moved a product to a different category, but after deleting that product then adding it again, it worked one time then stopped working again. So I deleted the product again re-added it again, and it does not work. This is not related to any settings in the price manager - I have checked them all, everything is set correctly. I have read the tutorials on how to do this and as I said, it was working before and is not apparently related to any changes on my part. Thanks to anyone who can help! Kelley

Out of curiosity ... what are "blank discounts" and are these the ones you add in the Products Price Manager or something else?
