Product Discount without using coupon

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if there's a way or a module that can be used like:
a. A registered user purchases first time a product with the price of $100 then when the user purchases the same product for the second time the price will be 50% discounted to $50? Problem is this should not use the coupon discount function.

I haven't seen any modules yet. Any help please

You would need to customize the code to check the previous orders of the customer and apply a discount ...

I have not noticed any add ons for this, but it could be done ...

You should consider how you want this done, such as does the customer see the discount on the Product or as a lump Discount ...

A lump Discount would be the easier approach of the two methods ...

Also, you could add a feature that flags the Products that they will be discounted at checkout ...

And, you should consider with it always be 50% discount on the next order meaning will it never be 40% or 60% on the Discount?

And, you mentioned 50% discount if previously purchased ... what happens the 3rd time that the product is ordered? what happens the 4th time the product is ordered ...

hi, thanks for the thought, for now 3rd and 4th purchase will still be 50% discount.
i'll try to figure this one out then
