    Default Express checkout button

I'm having problems using the express checkout.. but only if the user uses the 'button' i.e. purchase without creating an account.

The weird thing is.. there are no errors anywhere, the debug throws nothing. curltest says everything is fine. The problem I have is, is that no money is credited or debited. The order goes through zen cart, they receive a notification of the order.. but thats it. nothing from paypal... and the order holds no paypal details, not to mention that my paypal doesnt show any transaction for the order.

If I do a full debug of an express order.. I get hundreds of emails telling me every step paypal makes and how the data is passed back and forward.. but when the order is finalised.. nothing enters my paypal account and no paypal notification is sent.

I am using the latest version of zencart 1.3.9h

Any one know of any possible snags or problems of similar issues?

    Thanks in advance

Are your debug logs including one that talks about DoExpressCheckoutPayment? If so, what's its "result" response? Any errors mentioned there?

If the problem is that PayPal is failing to do something with the submitted transaction, it might be necessary to get *them* to look at it from their end: www.paypal.com/mts

The log for the DoExpressCheckoutPayment part of the transaction is what you should include in your post to PayPal.
You can PM a copy of that email to me as well if you like.

I can't see any reason why that wouldn't be properly processed by PayPal.
You'll need to get PayPal to look into why the payment wasn't taken. www.paypal.com/mts
