Re positioning bread crumb on lhs?

Is it possible to re position the breadcrumb trail by cutting & pasting the code in tpl_main_page.php?

I want to have the breadcrumb trail start from the lhs of the page beneath the header or at least appearing to be beneath the header content.

Yes but I believe that it currently exists in the center column area - - would have to relocate to before the start of the l, r & center areas

Have tried various copy and pastes but see no changes on the site at all.

What other ways are there of shifting the position of the bread crumb so that it starts on the lhs of the page above the left column?

It was a kludge to defeat a a cross browser bug that i just couldn't quash at the time, originally there were other things on there as well rather than just the breadcrumbs and search, I just haven't bothered changing it as it works fine

Add to your stylesheet

#navColumnOneWrapper {margin-top: 2.5em;}
#navBreadCrumb {margin-left: -16em;}

Tested in Firefox; check in IE and others.

Brilliant Guys!

The stylesheet fix works just fine in ie, Chrome & Firefox.

Some slight positioning differences in the Firefox browser (offset to the right a bit) but that's livable with.

As usual, greatly appreciated with many thanks.
