hello all,

i am fairly new with zen cart and have built a website for a client and also set up their store with zen cart. this customer is a restaurant owner and i have set up zen cart to handle online food orders.

issue i am having is some meals require certain variations. some affect price and so do not. for example:

they have a 1, 2, or 3 meat dinner. if the options for meats are:

brisket
pulled pork
sausage
grilled chicken
ribs

ok i have checkboxes setup for their customers to choose what 2 or 3 meats that they want. issue is that they are able to check all if they wanted and it wouldnt change their pricing. more than 3 meats is not an option for one meal but i must display all choices so that customers get what they want. i have same situation with side items. they are only allowed 2 per meal but they are able to select all that are available at this moment.

what i need to do is disable the other options once the customer has selected the maximum for that entree. like only allow 2 of 3 options to be selected. if they attempted to select the third it would change their check mark to the other box and would never allow more than 2 boxes checked at a time.

i know there are many experts on here that may be able to help me fix this issue. i love the cart and found customizing and setup pretty easy. i just have to figure out how to address this issue.
