How to re-enter customers into database?

Hi Everyone, need some assistance.

I used to run Zen-cart version 3.3.8, until the site was attacked I than had to start fresh so I upgraded to Zen-cart 3.3.9h the latest version. But now I have lost my best sellers box on the front of the website because I lost my purchased customers information and what they brought in the attack. I still have copies of the receipts and want to enter this information back into the system, so that I can get my best seller box back.

The question is how do i enter the information back, what tables do i need to adjust in the mysql database or is there some other way of doing it?

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Hi Kobra,

Thanks for the quick reply, when i did the database backup, it did not backup the customer information when I upgraded to the new version, something went wrong with backup in the cpanel.

So I have lost the customers information but not the content information for the site, may have had something to do with the attack I had on it.

If you can not generate a proper DB Backup from the old site/install

Thanks Kobra, I am really hoping that I could have updated the table files somewhere and some other files, but from your response this may be difficult to do?

Just follow up information, just in-case people are looking for answers like I was.

It appears to be a very complicated process. I asked around and found a script they think it can be done with: http://www.#########################...-orders-wizard I haven't tried it due to the costs involved. There are also some expert ZenCart programmers that can do it, but usually charge a fee plus $100.

So by the sounds of it, it is not as simple than changing the tables.
