Pros and Cons to working with Linux or Windows ?

Hi,

Starting a new website and I'm going with Zen Carts
Guess I will go with Go Daddy as far as Hosting....unless someone can tell me one that is better and as secure.

I'm about to download Zen cart, and I'm thinking about buying a template that I like.

Can someone give me the pros and Cons of working with Linux and or Windows ?

DO NOT use GoDaddy - You will be sorry.

Whatever hosting you choose should be Unix (Linux) and not Windows.

There are no pros with using Windows servers with Zencart.

As ajeh said, don't use GoDaddy. Check the Certified Hosts (link above).

Don't buy a template, either, at least not right away. Install Zencart with the demo products, spend some time looking through the admin and reading the Tutorials/FAQ (link above) and get to where you understand how stuff works before you worry much about how your store looks. In any event, don't buy a template from Template Monster or any of its resellers.

Could You or someone else tell me from the list above, which are better ? or maybe one that you have used ?

The Template that was looking at comes from Picaflor Azul , who is everything Zen Cart.

But i will look over Zencart first before I buy one.
