Thank You page after purchase

Currently using v1.3.9e

How and Where do I set up or enable a "thank you page" redirect for when a customer makes an online purchase.

It currently takes the user to a blank page upon making a purchase which confuses some.

Is that blank page the redirect page and I just have to type in the words "thank you" on that page? If that is the case, where is this done.

Are customer receiving their order confirmation emails? I believe if you are getting a blank page after order confirmation it is generally due to an email error. Probably want to run the debug utility.

No, you should be at
/index.php?main_page=checkout_success

and there you should see the default

Checkout Success Sample Text ...

A few words about the approximate shipping time or your processing policy would be put here.

This section of text is from the Define Pages Editor located under Tools in the Admin.

The define page editor and select define_checkout_success.php and add your text
