Tax Rates and Order Status additions (problems)

Hi

I have set up Zen Cart before but have never come across this problem. If I change the tax rates to say 20.00 (UK) It defaults back to the front page every time and does not action the request.

Easy populate 1.2.5.4 (installed and not installed, same problem.)

Also if I try to add localization/order status items, it does exactly the same.

Any help would be appreciated.

Found the problem was a dodgy .htaccess file causing the glitch, thanks for help.
