    Default define pages editor

when i choose to edit a page i see this....

Note: you should always edit the files located in your current template override directory, Example: /languages/english/html_includes/510ego_template
Be sure to make backups after changing your files.

    Editing file:
    /home/nowness1/public_html/includes/languages/english/html_includes/define_contact_us.php

so the file i am actually editing is in the classic, right??

seems that i am missing a directory somewhere, but as instructed i made a CUSTOM directory everywhere there was a classic. am i missing something???

You should copy the file, and put it in the folder named 510ego_template, then edit it.
    public_html/includes/languages/english/html_includes/510ego_template/define_contact_us.php

doesn't the editor edit pages in the current template?

if not then all those pages would have to be edited from the 'outside' i could do that...i guess.

also...when i place an image (whatever.jpg) in my catagories, need i follow an exact path ie href CUSTOM.com/public_html/etc/etc/etc/whatever.jpg

catalog seems to show that it will find the image you want just by placing the file name there.

Once you place the copy of your define_page in the custom folder, you can edited both ways, from "outside", or thru the admin.

Images are stored in the images folder in the root of Zen Cart, you can create subdirectories, or put everything in the images folder.
Depending on how many categories, sub-categories, and products you have you may want to create sub-directories.
I usually create a folder for the category, and subcategory images, and one, or more for my products, depending on the category number.

Ftp the folders to server, and when browsing to upload the images, I would use the drop down to choose the correct folder in the images directory to upload my images, be it for category, or product.
