Images not changing

I had 2 images I need to change. I corrected my images, replaced them in my folder on computer. Deleted the old photos. Went to filezilla, deleted the old images, loaded the new photos. The old photos still show up. I even went into my zencart, deleted the entire item. Went to cpanel and made sure the photo was deleted. Went back to zencart and added item like a new item and still the old image is showing up. I can't even find a copy of the old photo anywhere on my computer but I can't get rid of it in the store. I am going nuts here. What am I doing wrong.

did you clear the cache in your browser?

Put the images up with a different name

then go into the relevant product in admin, and change the image name to the new one

Yes I did clear the cache. I tried everything. I changed the name of the image and uploaded it that way. That just seems way to easy (something I didn't think about doing and don;t see why I should have to) but still doesn't make sense as to why it kept picking up an image that was not anywhere on the system.

assuming your username is also the name of your site, your site title is coming up as "Zencart! the art of ecommerce"
