new Install - no admin login prompt

Hi, just did a new install of 1.3.9 and when I got to my admin area URL, I don't get a logon window, but only a few character (with the first two characters of my logon name...very weird)
help please!

Hi,
I installed manually, using Dreamweaver as ftp client, renamed the admin folder after install. I changed the permissions and altered filenames via Cpanel.
There is no error message, only a page with
ededededededed
in the body and in the source when I go to the admin/index.php file that normally gives me the log on prompt.
I wiped it, and tried again with the same result.

I suggest that you throw Dreamweaver in the trash, at least for working on ZenCart and any other php application

Get a Real FTP client and a good code editor

I'll give that a try and use FileZilla or the command line utility and let you know the outcome.

worked when uploaded with Filezilla, won't throw Dreamweaver in the trash just yet, but will not use it again to do a zencart upload
