I am trying to add another sub category under a main category(gifts). After I click on the category (gifts) I click on new category and put all the info in and hit save. Then it takes me back to the main admin page. When I go back to categories/products and look under the category it has not been added. I never had this problem before, it always worked.

What version of Zencart ?
Are there products in the Gifts category ?

I already have 4 sub categories under gifts and was trying to add another. My version is 1.3

The reason I asked about the version is that the behavior you described can be caused by improper installation of the security patch for 1.3.8a. Was that patch applied since your admin worked before ?
