Tricky Pricing???

I am using version 1.3.9H. I have tried applying and configuring several differnt attribute configurations but I can't seem to find the right combination.

I have products with a base price of $9. I give my buyers the option via attributes to select a miniture version of the product for $3 or select the normal size for $9.

I can't figure out how to get this to work properly. when I set to price by attribute and my product base price is zero it shows the cost of the product as $3 because this is the lowest attributed price.
On the product description I need to to show $9 or maybe nothing at all.

How can I fix this?

Try setting the price to 9

The attribute for small to -6 and see if this is preferable

Thanks Kobra. When doing that the price still resolves to $3.

Is it possible to set it to display no price and I will rely on the attribute pricing to advise my buyers of the cost of the products?

Yes. In the product setup page, select Yes in Price By Attributes and set the product price to 0.00. Then the attribute prices are all the customer will see.

Unless I misunderstand your response that is what I had originally. This issue is when I do that the system places the lowest amount ($3) when describing the product and price.

If you setup as I recommended you get the full price displayed and the option for half with a subtraction when added to cart
