URL change

On my website, I have the index.html (of course) in the root directory. I have it forward to the zen cart directory. How do I change the address that is displayed in the address bar (URL) to reflect the name of my site?

I had the site live on another website host while I was setting up Zen Cart on the new site. I have now changed the DNS to point to the host that I am using.

When someone clicks on a category, it links (now) to an address in the format of 123.46.789.12/~aName/theCart

I want it instead to have the URL of http://www.mysite.com/theCart

Change the URL in your HTTP_SERVER and HTTPS_SERVER settings in your two configure.php files.

Change it again, but this time make sure that the files are writable before saving the changes. (change them back afterwards)

Hi just wondering how i can change the address of the store pages they are currently showing like http://www.mydomain.co.uk/index.php?...index&cPath=15 and i would liketo tidy them up. I am used to HTML and this is my first venture into php. Thanks in advance
