You can try it, but it probably will not help. You aren't getting any errors so there likely isn't anything to 'repair'. It's good practice to make a backup first anyways. That way if something goes wrong, you can reinstall the backup.

marc: he didnt

marc: i sent him the database and he said that should work on any LAMP platform as it is

marc: the mysql server keeps going into sleep mode

Phil: the mysql server is ok

marc: if you see the logs.. you can see that it goes into sleep mode a lot

im running simple seo url mod but i get similar problems with SSU on or off so i dont think its that

Enable the display of parse times on your install and give us a link to it
