I have a problem with editing Products on my live server. This problem does not occur on my development server, just on the live server.
My shop front is OK and everything works fine there. However when I am in Admin and want to edit a Product (Catalog > Categories/Products > Select a Category > Click on a Product), two fields do not show up on the Products screen. The two fields are “Products Name” and “Products Description”. Other fields do show up OK (price, quantity, sort order) and the name and description show up OK in the shop front.
Interestingly the two missing fields in Admin are the ones with a flag by them. This might be a clue, although I have not loaded any language files other than default English. The development server installation (which does not have this problem) is identical - same Zen Cart version 1.3.9h same and downloaded file set used. The live server is running Linux, the development server is running XAMPP (Apache).
Does anyone know what the problem might be?
