help question Trying to set an attribute to give a % discount

I have a product that is imprinted and the product is priced by attributes: If the product has attributes that put it at $100. I want to give them an attribute selection that works as a discount. For example: if they do want the product to NOT be imprinted and want to order it blank, I would like the attribute selection BLANK to discount the product 20%.

Is it possible to offer a percentage discount as an attribute? Is the an add on module for this?

Here is a product that if a customer did not want to order it with an imprint, we want them to be able to place the order and select an attribute that says BLANK and discounts the product 20%

The built-in functionality only discounts by *amount*, not *percentage*.

But, given that the overall price of the product is governed by the selected quantity, a percentage discount probably isn't needed. You could simply set your "LEAVE IT BLANK" attribute to a price of "- $20", after making the product priced-by-attributes.

DrByte... it's been a very long time... Thank you for the reply. I was just hoping that there might be a work around or a mod...

This is the direction we were going to take if no other option was available.

I appreciate your time and reply.
