What do you see in the tree looking at it with your FTP Client?

It should be like

Store/Includes/Templates/Your_new template

and inside of that you should see at least

Store/Includes/Templates/Your_new template/template_info.php

Add DO NOT USE Dreamveaver as your editor or your FTP Client for any thing in this php application
