Looks like you are on the right path now. Your category/products tree looks correct.

Yes, you can later move a product to another category, but do it within the admin. Also, you CAN move an entire cateory (and all sub-category/products) to another category, but do this within the admin.

EP is not designed to move products/categories.

Thanks for this - have been sick for the last couple of days so sorry for the slow response in getting back to you.

Have started to do it like you said - things are working out well and I am building a more complicated shop - i.e. adding sub categories in - something I never did before

However I am seeing an interesting behaviour pattern.

If for example, (zen>admin) I enter in a product and leave something blank and go back to it to modify(edit) it - the entire product data that was entered is now blank and I have to enter in all new data - is this normal behaviour? < it's not that big of a deal I'm only setting up my cart at the moment.

Be sure to hit "preview" and then "update" on the next page.

What are you leaving out? I would include at minimum the title and model number. I've never seen
this behavior before. Perhaps you are clicking on Cancel instead? I've done that a few times.

turns out it just happens on the test site - here's the live - did it like you said

Did it today - installed - then set up cats - 1 product each exported - then entered in all info after the fact - works great

Oh and if any else needs this little tip - change the upload file number just a bit - I noticed that it I added changed pictures and reloaded it with the same file name it sometimes didn't recognise the change. ie. file-10.txt to file-20.txt did the trick

I guess I should also make sure the file is 644 right?
