As this does not appear to be a default file I would look to what and how you have attempted to install the addon Newsletter Discount

Double check all the files you intergrates with the original zen cart files, Use win merge to check if you loaded a file from this mod on top of a core zen cart file.. If so place the original zen file back.. You will have to edit the database and clear out the files that the .sql file loaded if this was done... Or if you had a back up of the database before you uploaded the Newsletter Discount Mod..

To be honest haredo, I don't fully know how to do all that. I have removed the files added by the newsletter discount feature, and I really don't add or edit much on this site. I was initially trying to offer coupons for local stores and was using the 'create account' and 'contact us' pages as a template for the required field form on the 'discount coupon' page. (You can see my attempt on the local coupons link in the sidebox of the website.)

That, and trying to send coupon codes to all newsletter subscribers upon sign up are the only things I've done, and now the 'contact us' and 'create account' options don't work so I know I messed up something around there...sorry if I don't make much sense, this doesn't make much sense to me!

I have old backups of my entire site...would it be a good idea to just delete includes/modues, includes/templates, and includes/languages and reload them from my backup? Or would that just create a whole new storm of problems??

All I did was download it from the zencart free addons site and manually drag and drop the docs into the right folder, there was only 3 and I've since removed them. Is that what you meant, and do you think doing it that way caused this issue?

Reakky depends upon when you made these???

As a matter of rule I always take a file set backup and DB backup just prior to attempting to make any alterations so that I have a fall back position

If your backup was recent to attempting to install the addon then use all of it and not just pieces....

If that addon also had any sql that you ran then you will have to determine how to back it out from your database

Thanks Kobra, it wasn't too old so I deleted the entire site and uploaded the backup. However the same errors still come up so I'm assuming that means it has some sql I ran or I didn't restore the db? I really don't know much about the database and how to edit it, like I said I hadn't even accessed phpmyadmin for this domain until today.

Where can I find out about sql I may have ran or if I need to do anything with the db?

I did originally install the 'newsletter discount' under admin-->order total, however that isn't there anymore...other than that it doesn't mention anything about sql or steps like that, just add the three new files to the root.

I'm confused since I restored the backup of my site because the link offering local store coupons in the sidebox is still there even though I only created it a week ago (I think that may be the root cause of this issue somehow), what does that mean? And do you know how I could go about finding the issue? Again, sorry for being such a noob.

OK so I got rid of the link it was in EZ pages...which I still don't understand how it was there if I just deleted the site and uploaded a backup because it's not that old.

no, sorry. The same table error problem is still there. In admin-->customers and also when you try to create an account or contact us on the website.

I was just saying the local coupons link I referred to is no longer there because I got rid of it.
