Can I show attribute prices individually in shopping cart and checkout?

Hi,

Along the same lines of this thread, I was interested in finding out if there was a way in Zen Cart where I can show the individual line items with their individual prices along with the total, like the costs of the attribute addons, instead of the one total price shown in Your Shopping Cart Contents. The product description shows the breakdown of the product price and the attribute addons, but not in the Contents page. Thanks.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to separate individual line items in the shopping cart so customers can see all the options and attributes that are shown in the product descriptions also will be shown throughout the checkout process as line items instead of one lump total and sub-total. ..... Any ideas?

Am using the latest Zen Cart version (v1.3.9g) and am still looking for any suggestions or ideas of how to separate individual line items in the shopping cart so customers can see all the options and attributes that are shown in the product descriptions.

The reason this is important is that our products have varying attributes and oing to the shopping cart, I wanted to make sure that the customer had a list of all chosen attributes with their prices as they added up to the total instead of just the list of the attributes and the lump total price. .... Any help would b appreciated. Thanks!

I am sorry if I was not very clear with my issue, so I thought I would try again and simplify my request. I have an eCommerce website: www.dealfactorydirect.com where the customer can make a number of attribute choices, all with their cost addons. ... When the customer clicks "Add to Cart" all the individual cost addons through his attribute selections are lumped into one subtotal price and I would like the customer to see all his attribute price choices individually shown in te shopping cart. All the descriptions of the attritubute options are shown individually, just not the individual prices. ..... Does anyone have any hints or solutions of how to breakup the subtotal price into the individual costs of his attribute choices throughout the 3 pages of the shopping cart? ..... Thank you and let me know if anything is still unclear.

The Edit Cart module allows customers to re-appraise/edit individual items in their cart before proceeding to checkout.

However it does not output an itemised costing to an invoice or order.

Thank you for the hint. I downloaded and added your recommendation to my Zen Cart and it works just great for being able to edit and modify the individual products in the cart!! .... But, again, like you stated in your last line, the individual options/attributes do not show up as line items in the cart. .... Do you have any suggestions or possible options to allow the individual line items to appear in the cart?
