Shopping_cart link broken

Hi All,

I had some old add-ons I did not use and decided to remove them. Predictably I broke something in the process and I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I log in and throw something into my shopping cart. At this point the shopping cart turns up in my sidebox with the items in it. I want to check out so I click on the link at the top of the sidebox to take me to the shopping cart (displayed in the centre). Only that it does not take me to the shopping cart anymore (it displays the featured pages, but that is probably some kind of placeholder).

Looking at tpl_shopping_cart_default.php it says it is automatically loaded on the shopping cart link.

Anyone knows how this works or what might be broken?

No background on what addons you had and removed and how you attempted to remove them
No info on what version of ZenCart you are using either

Zencart is 1.3.9h.

Removed mods are User Currency, one of the cross selling mods (there are more than one on the download page, this is cross_sell_1.3), ultimate seo urls, Google base feeder and an ancient Protx payment mod that is not even in the download area anymore (no supported way of removing it so I removed the relevant db table and all files that looked related to it by name).

Also the debug logs from the cache folder do not contain anything useful.

Check quickly what happens after switching to the classic template

I am getting a blank page when loading the site. Worse now I am getting a blank page on the admin page as well, which means I can not switch it back.

Any idea how to switch back the template? Presumably I could change something in the db with phpadmin?

Nevermind, the template switch is sorted. The shopping cart does not work with the classic template either.

Just to clarify, it would help me to understand how tpl_shopping_cart_default.php is loaded "automatically" when clicking the shopping cart link.

I have some changes to this file, but it does not work even with the original file so I think there is more to this than my customizations to this file.

A correction here, the page displayed is the main page (when I click the shopping cart link), the same as where http://www.carladaly.co.uk leads).
