New Products not showing new products

Hello all,

Does anyone know where I might figure out why my 'new products' is not showing new products, but rather showing any products at random?

You can see that it is displaying new products below on our front page. This is great except that the products shown here are not new. Do you have any idea why this is not showing new products. It seems to just show any products randomly.

I assume it is maybe something with the RI template I am using?

Any help much appreciated !
