Customize my own buttons and I already have a database

Hi there,
I don't have a zencart yet, cause I need to know if zencart or even any shopping cart can help me!

I made the following website for my client: www.greenbeanbaby.com
and everything is made from scratch ( I still don't know how to use any CMS, I'm new and old at the same time). So the clothes are displayed with no shopping cart. The only thing that is used is Paypal to pay.

But my client wants now to add coupons... And I cannot develop myself the script so I am wondering if a shopping cart could do. But in my case, the buttons and the database of the products already exist. So can I use a shopping cart afterall? I guess I want a code that i can add to my buttons and that would lead to Paypal at the end. But I don't need to create a website.

I hope you get it and that someone has an answer for me!

If you don't want to re-develop the whole site, you could look into using Paypal's coupon facilities.

Thanks Kim. I've tried already but I am not able to write a script so I would have to hire someone to do it. And I was wondering, if instead of developing a script, a shopping cart would be easier...
So you think I would have to redevelop the whole estore part?

Yes, you would need to build a template in Zen Cart to match the design you have, and then move all of the database info into the ZC database.

Although it would be a lot of work (and a big learning curve) to convert the site to Zen Cart, it will make maintaining the site and adding new products a lot easier.
