    red flag Recurrring Invoices

Hi as zen cart isn't currently equipped to handle recurring payments/invoices does anybody either know of a good mod that will work with paypal OR some software that will run off my server and enable me to create the recurring invoices and have them automatically sent by email with a paypal button or link?

I'm aware that this is possible with paypal by the way, but what I want is invoices which come direct from my billing email address as I'm selling web hosting.

Just doing a quick search of the add-on site

http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...oducts_id=1248 (This is not paypal but its recurring billing)

If your selling web hosting there are web host billing software out there that will handle all that for you as well. I used to own a web hosting company if you want suggestions let me know.

Ok, well I know about some of the billing software, WHMCS and PHPCoin are the ones I've come across. I set out to have the site so it didn't auto generate accounts as I didn't want anybody on my server, hence why I've used zen cart to do the job. And with a few tweaks and add ons I've found it actually does the job very well.

So what I'm after is a standalone invoicing system where I can auto generate invoices once a month with a paypal link. The first payment will come through Zen Cart followed by monthly payments.

I've looked at Wp Invoice and there's another similar one for Wordpress which I can't remember the name of, however I've tried both and they both appear to be broken with the current release of wordpress. Which frustrates me as they would have easily done the job.

So I need something that will happily sit on my server and auto generate invoices without me getting too involved. And I also need it to be free or open source as fund won't allow me to purchase. Tall order maybe, I don't know. See what you think.

Well I don't think there is a add-on for paypal I showed a link to another one. I know you said you need it free, I don't know how hard it would be to make the one I showed above work with PayPal it might really complicated it might be simple you would have to pay someone to change the files around.

Other option is use something like WHMCS and just don't have it do any of the auto features, setup the subscription by yourself, you will have to pay attention and maybe setup a subscription offer a 30 day free trial, since they paid for it when they went through the zen cart and that will continue to bill.

There are lots of things you can do. Trying to stay free is really going make it harder. I can tell you now when I ran my company I had to dish out money for the server, WHMCS, fraud guardian, and other services to make it work like I needed to so clients could do what they needed to do. I like it for the automated setup (sounds like you don't want that) the fraud guardian kicked out fraud. But it had its place. But this forum is not for how to run a business, although I would be happy to talk to you about it PM me if interested.

But I think the short answer is for FREE I don't think your going to find it.
