Order Confirmations

Hi all - I have put a tet order through so I can view the order confirmation email.

It's pretty standard and does what it needs to do.

I would like to modify it in two ways, the first being to add a brand logo.

The second to get rid of all the spurious 'A' sybols before the £ signs, but I have use a modifier to do this in other online documents before, so it shouldn't be too tricky.

But I can't find where I need to edit this. I have looked through the forums and they all seem to be based around queries that are further down the road than this.

So if you could explain to me in quite concise terms, what I need to do, I would be very grateful.

I am on version 1.3.9h and the site is www.dars-parts.co.uk.

If you could turn on Check/Money Order moneyorder Payment Module ... we could test this to see what the emails look like to see why ...

My guess is you need to go to the Configuration ... Email Options ... and fix the setting for:

Convert currencies for Text emails
What currency conversions do you need for Text emails?
Suggestions = £,£:€,€

Thank you -I have switched this module on, obviously being a noob, I didn't switch module on I wasn't sure of.

I tried to check out but you only have PayPal showing ... so I really cannot test it ...

You'll have to forgive that, the 'buy now' button option is just the checkout button, in disguise.

The owner of the shop wanted it there, because they think it is a more trustworthy 'call to action'.

The normal setup for checkout is still behind it.

I add things to the shopping cart ... I go to Checkout and on the checkout_payment page I only see PayPal and no Check/Money Order ... so I cannot create an order to see what you r email looks like ...
