Sold Out; You Might Like...

Looking for an add-on that will display up to 3 products on a product page only when it is sold out. I didn't see anything exactly like this but maybe i missed it in the listings. I'm thinking maybe one of the cross-sell add-ons would be a good place to start. Any thoughts/advice?

There is a contribution Related Products that you might be able to display only if the item is unavailable.

Thanks, i think this could do the trick. I already use Back in Stock Notification from Ceon, so this might fit right in next to that.
It's also pretty clean in terms of not touching other code in too many places.
Do you use it? How is the admin? is there a form on the product's page to enter the related products? Does the customer view look pretty clean?

OK, got it installed. Thanks! I'll tweak the format a bit so the wording is right. I also have to add the bit for checking to see if it's sold out. Then I think I need to add in a bit to make sure the similar product is in stock! You've gotten me off to a great start!
