Flat Rate Postage

I don't know if anyone can help, i've had a look through the forums and can't seem to find the right answer.
I am trying to set up shipping from the UK as follows:
Uk: £1.99
Europe: £4.00
Rest of World: £6.00

I only sell small items so i can get away with flat rate across the board but i only get the option for 1 flat rate cost.
Is this something that is possible to do? Please forgive me as i am new to websites and have had one designed for me but this is really hard to work out and i can't make my site live until this is done.

You could build 3 Zone Definitions and then clone the Flat Rate flat shipping module ...

Do a search on:
clone flat

and you can see how that is done ...

Once the 3 cloned Flat Rate flat shipping modules are working, then make your 3 Zones and add each Zone Definition to the shipping module it belongs to and that will be the only one seen on the Checkout ...

Thank you - My guy is going to do the cloning for me - Just to be really thick how do i set up the zones? Can that be done just in the zen cart admin panel?

Zones are built in the Zen Cart Admin in the Locations / Taxes ... Zones Definitions ...

Click INSERT ...

Enter the information for:
Zone Name:
Description:

Click INSERT ...

Now define what the Zone is for ...

Click DETAILS ...

Click INSERT ...

Enter the
Country:
Zone:

Continue to repeat the last step until you have entered all of the Country/Zone details for this Zone ...

Be aware that entering things such as:
Country: United States
Zone: All Zones

Means ALL of the United States ... this includes all the States, DC, US Territories, Islands and Armed Forces ... if you only want the 48 States and DC or the 50 States and DC then you need to enter each one individually to include them in this Zone Definition ...

Thank you for the help - My web guy cloned the flat rate which worked and i had to work out all the countries in the zones which works (i hope!)

I must comment though i had oscommerce a couple of years ago and they had flat rate postage set up automatically and it was really really simple - I can't understand why zen have made it so difficult for simple people like me!!!!

Well that is what is all about the Zen Cart community ... Fellow zenner taking their .php knowledge and creating a mod for this very purpose ...
