    Default Ounces field ...

I have a customer who is having trouble with the shipping option at checkout. The shipping address is:

    Fabryczna17A/02
    65-410 Zielona Gora
    Poland

    She gets the following error:

    United States Postal Service
-2147218052 - The ounces field must be less than 5 digits

How can I resolve this issue?

First, make sure that you have installed the current USPS January 2, 2011 C version of USPS from post #26:
    http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...S+January+2011

Next, if there is still a problem, follow the instructions on post #26 for changing the decimals ...

That change is only needed for some sites, based on the Tare Rate settings and Product Weight settings ...

    Ajeh,

I installed the current version of the USPS module, now I cannot get any shipping quotes. I get this error now:

We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use.
If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact us for assistance.
(Please check that your Zip Code is entered correctly.)

Removed, installed and reconfigured the shipping module.

    Line #9 : * @version $Id: usps.php 18306 2011-01-03 01:09:49Z ajeh $

    Shipping/Packaging settings:
    Title Value Action
    Country of Origin United States
    Postal Code 32148
Enter the Maximum Package Weight you will ship 5
Package Tare Small to Medium - added percentage:weight 0:0
    Larger packages - added packaging percentage:weight 0:0
Display Number of Boxes and Weight Status 0
Order Free Shipping 0 Weight Status 0
Shipping Estimator Display Settings for Shopping Cart 1
Display Order Comments on Admin Invoice 2
Display Order Comments on Admin Packing Slip 1
    Country of Origin

    I tried a 2 lb order from 32148 to 49306

Please help! It was only an iternational problem before, now its the US also.

Did you follow the steps to:
1 Save old settings to NotePad
    2 REMOVE
    3 INSTALL
    4 reconfigure

Also, why do you have your Maximum Weight set so low?

Also make sure that you set your USPS ID correctly ...

Does the shipping module work correctly for either the US or Canada?

Note: you may need to edit the module and change the 3 decimals to 2 decimals ...

Not sure how that got set to 5, it should have been 75. I didn't notice until shortly after making the post and corrected it.

I did not change the 3 decimals to 2 decimals, t seems to be working correctly.

    I appreciate your help!
