    Default new pages

can i make a new page? lets say i create a category, that would give me a new page but can i hid that category from the category list and ad it as a link in the nav bar??? say if i have 2 nav bars one above the logo and one below (http://www.airtightvideo.com/shopping_cart) and they both have <home> tabs can i change one and have a collection of items from different categories? i know how to import items from different categories into a new category but only want it to appear in the nav bar and not in the category list. can this be done, and if so how would i change the link in the nav bar from say <index> to the new cat page? would i define the page name somewhere? if so where?

    you can add the category

then use this Add On to hide category from category sidebox

then create an ez-page with an internal link (category link - index.php?main_page=index&cPath=###)

I have done this, click here and you will see
OEM Packaged Products Refurbished Products Product Bundles

above the search box - those are ez-page links that direct you to categories - notice the do not appear in the categories sidebox

Where did you change the links?

The name are defined either in the ez-page section or in your header file.

Yes it will still work if products have attributes, 75% of my products have a extra protection attribute

somehow i got it all together, although right now i am using pages i have, so i still need to make some pages up, hide them from the category list and switch them with what i put up for now. I am now trying to maybe slow down how long it takes for the drop down to come down. right now even if you zip over it, it drops down, i would like for at least the cursor to have to stop to drop down so the drop downs dont get in the way if that's not what you doing but just going by.
