Help: Price is always 0

Hi,

This is a brand new install of 1.3.9h, no mods.

I am trying to enter products, I incule a price such as 125.00 and when I click Preview the price shows 0.

I click "Insert" just to see what is is on the cart and it is the same, 0.

I tried it in a category and I also tried it as top level but got the error "WARNING: You have Products in the Top Level Category. This will cause pricing to not work properly in the Catalog. Products found: 1"

Oh, and if I go back to edit the product the correct price is in there, but when I hit "Preview" I get 0

I could really use some help figuring out why the price won't display.

The price fields are highlighted in purple if that means anything.

It sounds as though your installation may be corrupt. As this is a new installation anyway, have you tried clearing out all the files and starting again?
