Need to remove category thumbs and listing on front page

hello

I want to remove category thumbs and listing on center of the front page

the coding from source has this div statement as a start "centerBoxWrapperContents" but i can not workout how to edit it from the theme or turn it off. Any suffestions to what template to edit as all theones that i try do something else or nothing

Using all_business theme on this site but i do not think that is a issue

I have honestly never seen this centerbox before, If I was to take a guess I would say it is located in your

/includes/templates/all_business/templates/tpl_index_default.php file


look for:
<!-- BOF: Display grid of available sub-categories, if any -->
CONTENTS WITHIN
<!-- EOF: Display grid of available sub-categories, if any -->

that is the section calling the center categories, that is actually a good feature that others may be interested in, could post the bit of code for them if that is where its at.

No, it does not.

You are correct, I was looking at:
Categories - Always Open to Show SubCategories


Instead of:
Categories - Always Show on Main Page

Look in your Admin> Configuration> Layout Settings for Always show Categories on main page before you go ripping into the template -

That did it, embarrased that i missed that and wasted a lot of time
