    Default Express Checkout Settings not saving.

    Hi there.
    I'm setting up paypal express checkout on
    www. nicolsonmaps .com

    But when I fill in the information regarding the modules settings, it doesn't appear to save. (the not configured yet message stays there)

    However, the module appears to be live on the site –##so if I try to go ahead and make a payment with the module i am being landed with the following error:

    "We are sorry for the inconvenience. The PayPal account authentication settings are not yet set up, or the API security information is incorrect. We are unable to complete your transaction. Please notify the store owner so they can correct this problem. (10002)"

    I have double checked and CURL is set up and available.

    I'm out of ideas, i'm not overly familiar with Zen Cart as it is this is one of very few sites I have built using it.

    Some help would be very much appreciated.

    The 10002 message means your API credentials are invalid ... which could be very true if your settings aren't saving properly.
    The only reason settings wouldn't save is if you've got an old version of the software with an overprotective bug in some of its security handling, or if you've got an error in some files (bad upload maybe?) preventing things from working properly. Maybe a PHP error might be getting triggered and stored in the /cache/myDebug-adm-xxxxx.log files?

    What version of Zen Cart are you using?

    Thanks for the quick reply, and sorry for my slow response, was off ill for a few days.

    The site is using v1.3.8.

    The problem - i think, is down to the Paypal express module settings not saving (when i click save, i just get redirected to the admin home page) There is nothing, that i can find appearing in the logs –##so i'm pretty stumped.

    Is there perhaps a way I can manually place the settings for the Paypal Express module into the database / config file? If I can get that to work then it would be very helpful.

    The site is using v1.3.8.
    You need to upgrade immediately - that version is vulnerable to several exploits.
    Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

    Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.
