Changing the shop display of downloadable product

Hi Everyone - this is a V-E-R-Y frustrated New Zenner desparately appealing for help! (Getting there slowly).

I have a downloadable product in four parts (Download Track 1 of 4... Track 2 of 4... etc). I have finally got the option names, option values, attributes etc to work and the downloads are accessible from the last checkout / payment confirmed page

The problem is that the option names and radio buttons next to and underneath the "Add to Cart" button appear on the product page in the shop. I only want the option names to appear on the final checkout page where it says "Download Now."

How do I do this????? (BTW I'm using v1.3.9h)
