bug category title and option names are missing or buged in other languages

hello, ive looked everywhere about this but either i didnt know how to define this problem or im the only one experiencing this.

im using the 1.3.9 version (the latest one), and i want to set up a site that uses 4 languages - English, hebrew, russian, arabic.

my problem is this - the category names and product option names in hebrew/russian/arabic are either bugged or missing.

allthough - the text in a content section is perfectly fine

ive installed the language packs both for font and back of the site, and i belive they are ok

    example :

    - i have a category named in english: "Kabalic Amulets." (http://195.28.180.70/~kmeot/index.ph...=0&language=en)

    - in russian im seeing this: "Кабб "- missing text, allthough i typed it all (http://195.28.180.70/~kmeot/index.ph...=0&language=ru)

    - in hebrew: "קמעוا" (see it here - http://195.28.180.70/~kmeot/index.ph...=0&language=he)

    - in arabic: "الكا" (see it here - http://195.28.180.70/~kmeot/index.ph...=0&language=ar)

so in hebrew and arabic im getting missing letters replaced by a strange rectangle, and in russian half of the text is missing.
not only in the category name, but in the option names as well. im pretty sure this is not a template related issue, because i switched templates and still the same.

please help me! this is my first zen cart try so this could be something really binale... thanks

    solved it

on the zencart DB I needed to change the encoding, its done this way:
    go to DB
click on a table (change them all probably)
    go to operations
    change the collation to UTF8-GENEREAL-CI
    or something

    thanks anyway!
