Sub Categories Only In Side Box?

We have applied the Categories-Tabs Menu ON/OFF to On so that the Menu is at the top of the page, however is it possible thereafter that once a customer has entered into that category (and theres a sub-category) that has other sub-categories that appears in a side-box?

Also the sub category picture (link) when clicked on keeps going back to the home page not matter how deep you are (say within 5 sub categories)? and not to the sub category clicked on ? but his only happens on the picture/link not like the breadcrumb status?

Categories Dressing can be used to display only subcats and not top cats, in numerous configurations.

If you only want to be able to hide the top categories in the sidebox (so just the current top's subcats, if any, show), you can add to your stylesheet

a.category-top {display: none;}

If you want finer control or styling, Categories Dressing will let you do just about anything.
If you want to hide the categories sidebox except when on a category or product page, add to your stylesheet
