Click on products produce error page. Help

I would appreciate any Help. I've been searching for 3 days (here, google, anywhere!)

I have successfully installed ZC v. 1.3.9h
New install
No Add ons
No customizations as yet
Server= Godaddy Linux/4GH web hosting
PHP 5.x
MySQL ver. 5. (sqyl database is hosted on separate server, not locally, hosted on hostedresource.com

My Problem:
I was able to upload and install ZC, I am able to create and modify categories and add and modify products. The product shows perfectly fine in the preview window. What happens though, after I insert the item and when I click on one of the items for detail (viewing in browswer, mozilla firefox), I get a 404 Error page where the item and details should be. I have Uninstalled, reinstalled, printed out the directions and followed them to the "T" on 6 different occasions in case I missed something. Still the same one result. No item displayed, but a 404 error code.
