    Default Http 500 internal server error

    Changed the name of my admin folder. I now receive an "http 500 internal server error" when I try to access my online catalog from the admin panel. I checked ther error logs on my host's server and I have the following two messages:

    File does not exist: /home/drea2221/public_html/404.shtml, referer: http://bylargesse.com/

    File does not exist: /home/drea2221/public_html/favicon.ico, referer: http://bylargesse.com/

    I have zen cart 1.39d installed.

    I have "zero" programming skills so I really need a "zencart for dummies" response.

    Why do that???

    Most any browser today has the tab ability
    One tab for the shop & another tab for your admin

    But in general for 500 errors are server errors

    Thanks so much for your help. I pulled the the error messages found below from the Zen cart DEBUG log file. Not sure how to proceed. Would appreciate any direction that you can provide.

    Use FTP and see if you have that file and that it is not "zero" bytes

    More significant would seem to be that the DIR_WS_TEMPLATES constant doesn't seem to have been set. I would check you includes/configure.php file to see if this entry is there, whether the file is corrupted, or whether the permissions are preventing it from being read (either too restrictive, or too open so your servers security is closing it down - the latter can cause Internal Server errors).

    My thanks to both of you!!!

    Kobra: I have the following header.php file

    /public_html/includes/templates/template_default/common/html_header.php

    Kuroi: This is what I found in my configure.php file (I have replaced by admin folder name with "####"):

    define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/#####/');
    define('DIR_WS_CATALOG', '/');
    define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_ADMIN', '/######/');
    define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/');

    define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'images/');
    define('DIR_WS_ICONS', DIR_WS_IMAGES . 'icons/');
    define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_IMAGES', HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'images/');
    define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_TEMPLATE', HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'includes/templates/');
    define('DIR_WS_INCLUDES', 'includes/');
    define('DIR_WS_BOXES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'boxes/');
    define('DIR_WS_FUNCTIONS', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'functions/');
    define('DIR_WS_CLASSES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'classes/');
    define('DIR_WS_MODULES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'modules/');
    define('DIR_WS_LANGUAGES', DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'languages/');
    define('DIR_WS_CATALOG_LANGUAGES', HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER . DIR_WS_CATALOG . 'includes/languages/');

    **************************************************

    It looks as though the line in question is missing. Would appreciate any guidance eihter of you can provide on how to proceed.
