Slider adds extra to my front page

Hi

I have a slider on my frontpage but however underneath it a small rotating circle appears causing a large gap on my page.

Does anyone know what could be causing this and how I would remove it?

Sorry for the generic like answer, but would think there would be a configuration setting to disable the slider possibly in like the page layout section. Thinking the option towards the bottom of the list. Otherwise would think it might be covered in the documenatation of the template or the template's forum.
