Handling Fee

I'm new to Zen Cart and had a question about order totals. I've got everything the way I want it now with charging sales tax based on the order total, etc, but I was wondering if its possible to add a handling or convenience fee based on quantity of products ordered?

That is to say a customer buys 3 widgets. If the handling fee was $1 per widget, his fee would be $3 plus sales tax. If he bought 1 widget, his fee would be $1 plus sales tax. Is this possible?

From a customer's point of view, I'd be really P.O.ed if I got to the checkout and got hit with a service charge that was per item - wouldn't it be better to raise your prices ?
