Welcome E-mail - How to change Colours etc?

I have been searching non stop and have found nothing to help.

I would like to change the colour's in the welcome e-mail please.

I tried a test account and sent to a Gmail e-mail account going through Mozilla Thunderbird but the logo/header didn't show (see below)



I then created another account and sent to hotmail and that one worked (see below).



Please direct me how to to change these colour's etc... where to do so etc.

Hi guys,

You need to modify the template files for the emails in order to change how they look!

they are in... yoursiterootfolder/email

Thanks for the quick reply. I see where I can alter the color of the text but my biggest issue is that the logo header is not showing in any e-mails that I send. At the top is just says logo. I've been sending test e-mails to myself and the logo doesn't seem to want to appear.

Any clue why this may be happening?

I had the same issue.... and overcame in an odd way....

After all the color and font tags in the begining of every template ... you will see a line that has "...something...something/logo.png"

Just alter that line to the full interneth path to the logo... http://yourstore.com/email/logo.png"
