Pre populate Zip Post code

Hello,
I have had a look around and can't find anything, hopefully someone here can help.
My client needs to have the Postcode prepopulated with Text of "XYZ123" when a customer selects a particular country as being their country of residence as they don't use post codes (in country XYZ) but for card authorisations; they need this to be in the Zip /postcode.
Is this possible?
If not there specifically when the customer is from country XYZ, could it then be pre populated no matter where they are from but able to be changed by them when signing up?
Any help; greatly appreciated? v1.3.9h

Ok,
Sorry and please forgive me. Basically I want to prepopulate the postcode in the billing/shipping forms with 0000.
How would I go about this? Any help is really greatly appreciated.
