I just got my first order on my new website and the same thing happened. Also running 1.3.9h. All previous tests worked fine with all notifications sent. I host with Godaddy and they are still dealing with a DDOS attack. I wonder if this is part of the issue in my case? I have changed nothing except continuing to add product.
Had a friend working on this problem today. In E-Mail Options we changed the E-Mail Transport Method from PHP to smtpauth. That seems to have corrected the problem.
Did this get resolved?.
exact same problem just happened with me. v 1.301

Thanks Dr B. I will try to sort upgrade. Although I do have all latest security upgrades.
I would like to say for info, that I changed mail transport system from sendmail to smtpauth and all worked again fine,, changed back and no work. The Host say they have not made changes.
Better to use SMTPAUTH anyway. sendmail should rarely be used.

I just had the same thing start happening 2 days ago. I'm now not receiving order and new customer notifications or emails through the contact us page.
I checked my email transport method as suggested in this post but it is already set to smtpauth.
Please help!

Thanks for the links. I actually had a look through them already but can't seem to find anything that solves the issue. Nothing has changed. Everything was working fine 3 days ago then all of a sudden it stopped sending emails.
Any thoughts?
