I sell design templates. I used to sell on ebay before I had my zencart. I now returned to ebay and would like to upload the templates I sell on ebay to my zencart. I would like to in some way input the customers transaction ID to tell zencart the person paid for that item. These are templates that are ONLY offered on ebay but I don't mind having a category for EBAY and have the sets listed as "out of stock" so that no one can buy them unless they go to ebay...or actually i suppose i COULD sell them on my zen too but that I haven't decided yet. THe main issue is how to create an area to store the templates so that I can deliver the digital download part of their order using ONE system. Alternatively I would have to upload the designs to a folder on my server and keep changing the password protecting that directory for every purchase which will run into maintenance issues and more work than it will be worth.
There just has to be a way I can do this using my zencart but i am not all that tech...i managed to set this cart up but it took me forever and it isn't set up ideally as it is. I just need to upload these templates and have a way my customers can have a download link to their purchase that isn't give out to everyone else. I would want the link to either expire or only provide them with a limited number of downloads like the rest of my inventory does.
any help would be ideal.
