Default Choosing more than one attribute from a drop down

We sell wine and we offer many optional extras e.g. glasses, chocolates etc. We have a list of about 40.
Currently we have them in a drop down but the user can only select one option. The problem is that the user may wish to select more than one option.

How do I create a option drop down which allows multiple selections?

If that is not possible I would like to present two different drop downs with the same choices - i.e. Choose one optional extra, Choose Second optional extra. I have been able to duplicate the options but it has not brought across the prices associated with them. How do I duplicate the additional prices without having to input them all again.

I hope this is clear enough.

You could enter them once on 1 Product and copy the Attributes from the 1 Product to another Product or to a Category of Products ... use the Attributes Controller for this ...

Not by using a drop down

You can make them a check box(es), but I believe one would have to custom code so that the default of allowing multiple boxes to be checked was not allowed

I tried this and while it copies the attributes, it doesn't copy over the price change(s) for each attribute.

Odd ... mine copies the Attributes with the prices ...

If Product A has Attributes with Prices ... and you want to copy those Attributes to Product B ... do the Attributes previously exist on Product B ... or did Product B start with NO Attributes prior to the copy?
