changed image location no image displaying

Hello,

Just wondering if someone can help with this issue. I have 2 domains on one database and would like to use one image folder for both sites. I have changed my include/configure to read

define('DIR_WS_IMAGES', 'http://www.my_site.co.uk/images/');

But the images are not displaying instead I get a flat line instead of the full image if I check the properties for the image it is coming from the right place just not showing. I am using 1.39h, I use easy populate and have image handler installed.
Any help wold be gratefully received.

Your hosting has a cpanel. Check if HotLink protection is enabled. If so, add your second site to the allow list.

I have just checked this and that is not the issue. Thank you for helping trying to resolve this.
